How It Started
Our founder, Jenny, has lived with animals her entire life, from tiny kittens curled up on windowsills to senior pets who needed softer support, and mischievous pups who turned everyday objects into toys. Along the way, she discovered something surprising: while our homes kept becoming more thoughtful and beautifully designed, pet products didn't. She found that most products fell into two extremes: they were either cute but not practical, or useful but something you’d rather hide away.
As a designer, Jenny couldn't ignore the gap. Why weren't pet products made with the same care, quality, and attention to detail as human products? Why didn't everyday essentials---bowls, beds, scratchers---reflect how pets actually behave or how people really live? So she did what designers do best: she started sketching. Those sketches became prototypes. Prototypes became real‑world testing---with real pets, real wear, paw prints, bite marks, and plenty of laughs. Little by little, Pet JoJo took shape: products that work beautifully for pets and blend seamlessly into modern homes.
